Two TSS Students Recognised Through Curtin University's Rising Scholar Program

We’re proud to share the achievements of Felix (Year 12) and Jasmine (Class of 2024), who have both recently been recognised with Curtin University Rising Scholar Program Certificate Awards.

The Rising Scholar Program is designed to extend high-achieving Year 10–12 students by offering them the opportunity to complete university-level units while still in high school. Students gain firsthand experience of university, build academic confidence, and even earn credit towards a future Curtin course.

Felix successfully completed GEOL1007 Planetary Science, achieving a final mark over 80%, while Jasmine undertook MATH1014 Foundations of Calculus. Both students showed outstanding commitment and capability, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This opportunity played a key role in Jasmine’s successful application to the University of Western Australia, where she began her Bachelor of Science this semester—majoring in mathematics and music (piano).

As Felix begins his final year at TSS, we look forward to seeing what opportunities he continues to explore.

We extend our congratulations to both students and look forward to seeing where their passions take them next.
