From Passion to Business: Layla’s Journey at The Studio School

At The Studio School, we love seeing our students bring their passions to life in the real world, and Year 12 student Layla is a perfect example of this in action.

Layla recently celebrated the grand opening of Layla’s Beauty Bar, a venture she has been using her project time at TSS to develop. Over her time here, she has worked on refining her skills, growing her brand, and now, she’s taking things even further with an upcoming rebrand—a new name and fresh look to be revealed soon.

Expanding Expertise in Beauty Therapy

In addition to running her beauty business, Layla is also studying for a Diploma in Beauty Therapy at WA Academy, further developing her skills in the industry. Her dedication to professional growth is setting a strong foundation for her future in the beauty sector.

A Multi-Talented Entrepreneur

Layla’s creativity extends beyond beauty services—she also runs M to the Bead, a jewellery brand that she recently showcased at All Saints College’s annual Pasar Malam Twilight Market. She regularly takes her charm bar to other markets, including Summer X Salt Market and Scarborough Night Markets, where she shares her handmade pieces with the community.

A Bright Future Ahead

Layla’s journey reflects the power of passion, dedication, and hands-on learning. We are so proud to support students like Layla as they transform their ideas into real-world pursuits, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for her!
